Battleship Texas VO-1 T-Shirt

Regular price $25.00 USD

While Texas carried many observation squadrons throughout her service, VO-1 perhaps held the longest tenure, serving aboard the ship. The logo on this shirt has been painstakingly recreated as it would have been displayed on planes serving on Texas.

These observation squadrons' main goal was to spot enemy targets and relay the fall of shot back to the ship so as to assist the ship in accurately hitting its target. This is denoted with the Latin "Vide et dice", meaning "See and tell", in the scrollwork below the insignia, and the radio waves are denoted with the three thunderbolts at the top of the insignia. This shirt is perfect for all naval air enthusiasts.
