Eisenhower's Speech Battleship Texas T-Shirt
The front of this T-shirt displays the Battleship Texas logo on the left chest, while the back displays an excerpt from a speech made by General Eisenhower onboard Battleship Texas on May 19th, 1944 while preparing for the Invasion of Normandy and subsequent liberation of France.
"No man could be more honored than I in the opportunity to come out here this morning and on this ship, which is ... named after the state of my birth, to welcome here into the great Allied team ... the officers and the men of the ships that have come to bear their part in the beginning of the real attack on Axis Europe."
This shirt is made of a thicker, heavier cotton, but it's still soft and comfy. And the double stitching on the neckline and sleeves add more durability to what is sure to be a favorite!
